I’ve been having battling on a situation on FSX for quite awhile at least since November with a strange kind of thing going on as after at that time doing the FSDT GSX live update, things have began to fall apart and haven’t had any issues before it. So I load up a flight and the airport cache does regenerate after, it does it repeatedly, another time the airport cache rebuilds very constantly everytime I hit flight planner or any menu to get a few things on the go along with view change to where the GSX/couatl disappears off the Add On menu and again rebuilds, along with a few occasions the GSX/Couatl Will CTD but of course the sim won’t ctd. After seeing the GSX disappearance I look at my add on menu and see all that all that remains is the FSPUIC, SODE 7, and Addon Manager with occasionally the GSX/Couatl coming back rebuilding despite that happening as the GSX stayed not disappearing after that, performed the departure procedures and pushback at the Sirrasim KSWF and i shortly noticed a pop up when I started the engines and saw. Press D to set the altimeter which was unusual because of weather setting that I had was partly cloudy and and such so as I’m in the air and about to approach the FSDT KJFK the sim starts to studder then freeze every few seconds for about maybe 30 to 40 seconds and then noticed the FSPUIC did In fact vanished off the Add On menu which caused the fsx to freeze for that period of time and the as I was close to the landing, the GSX followed as well. I have been to both FSDreamteam and Pete dowson forums about it and I haven’t gotten the help I can get to get this problem fixed. I have reinstalled GSX about nearly 100 times with antivirus and firewall off as always and still the problem was never fixed. I had to eventually factory fresh the computer which took about 2 weeks to do because of the add ons I had to backup and save, after all that work and and reinstalling fsx and everything else. Nothing got fixed. I’m not sure what else I can do to fix it. Can this be some sort of Simconnect overload or overclock or something? That’s the part I’m sort of suspecting but I don’t have many 3rd party add ons. But it’s appearing this is possibly a Simconnect overload of some sort. If anyone can help me out on this situation I would be happy to any of the help I can get. I would love to enjoy my fsx the way I did before, if it’s a Simconnect overload I like to know how I can get that solved definitely. I’m new to the forums and yes any help or talk will be useful.
