  1. Hi, I have just started using FSET (FS Earth Tile), along with FreemeshX Global terrain mesh scenery 2. Im finding it a great way to improve my FSX experience however I do have a problem. Anywhere i have created my own airport and with scenery created with FSET, i can see the runways, taxis, buildings etc but the landclass is not of the airport and FSET autogen covers the airport. I have tried changing the scenery priorities in FSX but to no effect. Dave
  2. Not so much a story but an ask for help, Recently ive been setting up flight plans in FSX of the flights ive been lucky to go on. However, im stuck with one in particular as Im sure at some point (Memory permitting) in the mid-late 1990s i flew on a rear engined quad jet with British Airways. The only such aircraft i can find through Google search in their fleet would have been the VC10, but they were retired from commercial service in 1981 (The year i was born). Is there any chance BA could have leased / reactivated during a particulary busy period in the 90's? or is my memory failing me. Thanks Dave
  3. Thanks, Thats a great help. Looks like in my current budget I wont be able to go 4k but theres a few to choose from if i stay about 1080. Dave
  4. Thanks, Anyone who could give me pointers would be much appreciated. Dave
  5. Thanks, As mentioned in my previous post, ive got a couple of upgrades to do, but ill sure to be back once up and running. Dave.
  6. Im currently running Win11 on a AMD Ryzen 9-7900 - 12core 3.7Ghz, 32GB Ram, so im sure thats ok but ive not yet got a dedicated GPU so using the integrated AMD Radeon Graphis with 512MB. My next 'upgrade' will be the SSD to a M.2 1Tb and then look for the GPU. Thanks again, Dave
  7. Again thanks for your replies, Ive been lloking at the requirements for FS2020, looks like im going to need a larger SSD and a dedicated GPU. So by the time ive got those 2024 maybe on the cards, for the moment im enjoying FSX at full graphics settings (Never done that before ;)) Dave
  8. Hi, Ive been away from Flight Sims for quite some time, either due to not having the time or a 'modern' computer. I used to love building my own airports with ADE, Repaint aircraft to make my own airlines and building flightplans in AIFP, etc, etc in FSX. Now I have more time available and a new computer to consider FS2020 however, as of yet ive not seen any tools such as ADE and AIFP. Dowes this mean FS2020 does not allow for such things or am I just not looking hard enough. Im also not seeing anything in the AVSIM library in terms of aircraft models. Apologise if this has been answered before, if so please point me in the correct direction. Dave
