Hi Guys, I am working through some Hardware, mainly from FSC or Open Cockpits. They need 12V and 5V power supplies.m As I was trying to test items, I have bought these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09LC87WYT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details However, I don't think these are up to the job? For example, I am getting intermittent power issues, 'blinking' of LED's etc. So I was wondering what other people have been using reliably/successfully for their 12V and 5V options? Thanks! Neil

Thanks! @donvodka - looks like that was the issue! Running the Prosim model fixed it. Shame the PMDG didn't work!

Thanks Ray! I'm just trying to get everything tested for now, hence using the free versions. I'm obviously happy to buy - but don't want to buy licenses and have someone say "ohh Software X doesn't work with Y" and be a waste of money 🙂

Hi Guys, I have a few pieces of hardware, but am mainly concerned with a CP Flight 737MCPEL and connecting it to Prepar3D via Prosim. I'm having issues with everything connected to Prosim, bit figured if I get the MCP resolved, the other things will fix themselves too! So, I am running Prepard3D V5, I am running Prosim in evaluation mode (as for now I am looking to test the hardware) and I have an un-registered version of FSUIIPC. The hardware seems to run fine - for example, I can make adjustments on the MCP and all that kind of thing. However, when running Prepar3D with Prosim and FSUIIPC - it doesn't seem to be 'seeing' what I am doing on the MCP. Prosim says it is connected with Prepar3D and FSUIIPC - but the hardware inputs are not coming through to Prepar3D, despite all these connections saying they're good. I expect this is very simple and I've done something wrong! But I am newbie to all this, so any help would be appreciated! I can't seem to upload the screenshots and they are too big in size, but can be found on this link here. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks! Neil

Hi Guys, Challenge of the day has arrived. I bought a used FSC Semi-Pro (this product), which seems to have been upgraded to a Motorised version by the seller..... I am having an issue in that I can't find any drivers for it, so its impossible for me to test if its working at all - let alone run it with Prepar3D. Eventually the plan will be to link it up to Prosim - but I am not entirely sure if the in-built FSC drivers are correct to make it work. Currently Prosim 'sees' it, its come up in red green on the list of Comm Ports, but I can't seem to make it move via Prosim - but I don't know if Prosim has the ability to do this? So..... I wondered if anyone has been in this situation, and if they know what drivers of what I can use just to test the motors work and test that it can talk via USB to a PC? Unfortunately, FSC aren't being that helpful - and nor is the seller! Thanks! Neil

Hi All, First post for me, so please be nice :) I am in the (early) process of building something 737-ish - intended to end up something like THIS - or at least that's the ambition!! At this stage, I am working through the software side of things, before getting into the hardware, and I've two (hopefully easy) questions; The first question is about Control. I obviously need a PC to run Prepar3D (V6).... But then the all the hardware (ie MCP and two screes running EFIS), FMC, Radio Stack, possible Throttle TQ..... The simulation screen would probably be a 49" Curved monitor, on HDMI. Can this all be done with 1 PC? Does anyone do it? The Second question is PC and spec of PC..... I am usually a Mac guy, so all this PC stuff is a little over my head. Ideally I'd be buying 1 PC to drive everything - I've seen some of the following Specs, and wondered if anyone can advise on whether any of the following computers would have the right spec? How many graphics outputs/graphics cards should I be looking for? - PC Option 1 - PC Option 2 - PC Option 3 I guess its down to HDMI outputs and USB outputs, which are important? Hoping that all makes sense? Thanks! Neil
