Hi AVSIM community Hello everyone. Happy to be here. My name is Jorge and I am new to the world of flight sim and looking to learn more about the software and hardware that support this hobby. I also am interested in learning more about aviation. I am a long time PC enthusiast and sim gamer. My background has been predominately spent sim racing but I have dabbled in some flight sim along the way. Had a go at IL2 while back and enjoyed that quite a bit. My connection to the aviation industry is I currently work at ORD as a paramedic at one of the rescue stations. So I have the privilege to be in close proximity to a lot of the aircraft. I also am in the process of producing an expo in Chicago centered around everything sim related. So flight sim will definitely be a big focus of this event. I'm hoping to create some new connections and friendships as well as learn a great deal about flight simulation from this community.
