  1. @Ray Proudfoot Yeah absolutely. I'll give my feedback. I have experience with PMDG (777, 747, 737), which are just phenomenal. I've flown 2 of those extensively in real life, and the systems are bang on. I'm not overly "Up to speed" on the G1000 in the DA62. So I'll have a play with that over the next few weeks and get back to you. Thanks again for all your help Ray. Kind regards, Mort
  2. Wow... I got it to work. So the problem was the DLL.XML all along. So I took your advice and did a search on my computer for that file. There were 2. The one I created in V5 ROOT folder and another in the c:\blah blah blah\roaming\pr3d v5\ I looked at that dll.xml, and essentially added the info required to access the xmltool64.dll file in the root pr3d v5 install. I loaded the flightsim again, and I got asked if I'd like to use the XMLTool64.dll file. I said yes, and bingo. It's perfect now. I just want to thank you @Ray Proudfoot for all your help. I must admit, I was starting to lose hope! If I'm ever in Cheshire, I'll look you up and shout you a bunch of beers!! Many thanks again, Mort
  3. @Ray Proudfoot Hi again Ray.... I'm getting closer. I've at least found out WHY my cockpit etc looks the way it does. If you open the configurator, then go to advanced. Hit the more info on reinstalling XMLTools64. Page 22 of the DA62 manual shows what happens if the XMLTools isn't installed properly. Look familiar???? However, if I hit the reinstall button, I get nothing different. But at least it's a start. So, if I was a gambling man, I bet the issue is with my DLL.xml file. It mustn't be loading properly. I've even tried to disable all other addons, reinstall the xmltools64, but to no avail. Still just getting the same issues. Also, my sound... if you look at the configurator again, under the advanced tab. Click more info for reinstalling the sound file. It again brings up my EXACT issue. No sound INSIDE the cockpit. So, as I said... I'm getting closer. I just need to work more on my files I think.
  4. Hi Ray. I wish mine looked the same. I've tried several other things, but I'm getting nowhere 😞 As you can see from mine, I'm missing a LOT of usuable data. Status messages etc. I noticed your G1000 shows you using P3D Database... Mine is like my alert messages. Nothing. Here's mine below...
  5. Something else to report. I went into the configuration tool, to see if anything was different if I started the sim, with everything "Ready for Flight", rather than "Cold and Dark". So even if I select Ready for Flight, the aircraft loads with nothing switched on. I'll keep trying to troubleshoot. Cheers, Mort
  6. It's all very strange. My aircraft is working, as the aircraft loads. I can fly it. But those few things aren't loading/working correctly. It's odd. My XMLTools64installer log is identical to yours. With regards to the install path, I just installed it into the default location. I have 2 drives in my computer. I leave C:\ purely for windows and any operating system related files. D:\ is for all my "stuff". I've always done this, and never had any issues with it. With regards to the post by @pemigris, this is what I used initially as my dll.xml. Maybe I need to track down a new version of the XMLTool64?. I'll see what I can find.
  7. My DLL.xml is saved as an html document. Do I need to save this another way? It's almost like it isn't recognised!
  8. May I see your DLL.XML file? Also, if you run the XMLTools64 installer which is in the addons folder, does it complete? Mine says that the XMLtool64 is installed, but there is no DLL.xml present???? But it's there! What am I missing? Sorry for the trouble!
  9. No joy.... I set that before any installs I've tried 😞
  10. I wish that was the issue.... All good there
  11. Yep, that works.... Let me take a screenshot
  12. Many thanks @Ray Proudfoot
  13. Im thinking I have an issue with the XMLTools64. or the DLL.xml file. Everything else is fine. Nothing is in my V4 anymore. Only the REG details
  14. @Ray Proudfoot Hi again, Scratch that.... I see there is another place that has addons. It's listed there. hmmm...
  15. Hi Ray, Many thanks for getting back to me. 1. Yes, that file is in there! 2. Yes, exactly that, plus a xmltools64 installer. 3. Nothing about the DA62 shows up in the P3D addons. Is this the cause? How do I get that to show up? Thanks again Ray. Kind regards, Mort
  16. btw, this is what's coming up on my instruments.
  17. Hi @Ray Proudfoot, many thanks for your reply. I couldn't remember if I did, so I uninstalled it, and tried to install it via Admin privileges. Still no joy 😞 Best regards, Mort
  18. Hi all, So I decided to grab the Vertx DA62, after reading about the reg edit making everything work fine. So, I got the aircraft installed.... but with a few hiccups; 1. No sound inside the aircraft. 2. The Alerts on the MFD's just show up as jibbrish. Nothing that means anything. It just shows a 0 on each line, rather than the Alert message. Any idea's on a work around? I have P3dV5.3 installed. Many thanks everyone. Kind regards, Mort
