Hey there Speedbird,
We totally understand your concerns, and there’s no doubt that some of the issues you’ve raised are troubling. Brian has already openly admitted to posting under an alt account and has apologized for it. We’ve spoken directly, and he agrees that it wasn’t the best or most ethical approach, and that it doesn’t reflect well on the company or the product.
That said, I do feel that some of these issues have been exaggerated, or even fabricated, and turned into the kind of dramatic spectacle that Reddit is known for—kind of like a 1980s soap opera my mom used to watch!
I personally spoke with the OP of that post today to assure him that, other than Brian’s posts, none of the other alt accounts were associated with our Admin team. I also made it clear that we do not use bot automation for our responses on Reddit. The only automation in use right now is on YouTube for our own streams under the name SayIntentions.AI. He has agreed to remove the post, though we all know the damage is already done. We do believe a lot of this could have been avoided had we not used the alt account, as it has unfortunately cast doubt on everything else.
I also want to make it clear that our admin team has now made it a policy that alt accounts will not be used for marketing purposes, and we are committed to maintaining transparency and trust with the community moving forward.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and we hope this clears up some of the confusion.
