  1. Oh I see what you mean. I tried changing the runways when I flip the flight plan and I get 29nm both ways. Thank you for another tip. However, the map world is still buggy for me when it comes to the distances compared to the youtube videos, but as I said I will just use online flight plans. Btw, did you also do KILM-KMYR in-game or only with online flight planner? If you could I would just like to know if you also get 72nm in-game, as I do.
  2. hmm So you get the same distance both ways, and you also get the correct distance according to online flight plans. I guess it's just my world map that is buggy then? I installed the game 2 days ago though.
  3. Solution: It's the world map that is being buggy or something is being miscalculated. I checked the flight plans in the in-game gps and they match up with the actual flight plans you can find online. thank you for suggesting flight plans vonmar, I will definitely use them from now on.
  4. I meant KDPL-KGWW goes from 29nm to 39nm, when I switch the airports around. Sorry for all the posts, I can't edit or delete yet.
  5. Something has to be broken in the flight planner in the world map on the current version of the game. If I go KDPL-KGWW it shows 39nm but if I just click the arrows to switch the departure-arrival airport, now the same flight is 39nm.
  6. I'm using MSFS 2020 I just tried SkyVector and SimBrief and they both also said 62nm, just like you and in the youtube video. I also watched another video where someone went from EGCC to EGLL. in the video his distance is 131nm and both flight planners also say 131nm. But when I check the route in my game it is 140nm. If you find the time, can you maybe try KILM-KMYR and EGCC-EGLL in MSFS 2020 and tell me what you get? or some other route that I can compare to.
  7. Hello everyone. I'm new to flightsim but I'm really enjoying the learning process so far. I have been watching youtube videos and recreating the flight plan and landing approaches etc. from the video. But I have noticed that even though I plot in the exact same flight plan as the videos, then my travel distance and travel time is not the same, it actually fluctuates quite a bit. The top part of the pictures are from the youtube videos and the bottom part are from me. I choose the same plane, runways, parking spots etc. as in the videos. I'm sure the sim is correct but can someone help me understand. I know that the winds will of course affect the flight time depending on the direction but In the first picture the guy from the youtube video actually has a headwind whereas I have a tailwind and my flight is still 10NM longer and takes 22 minutes longer.
  8. Pictures regarding a post I'm about to make. It's about how the flight plans from youtube videos have a different distance than when I plot the exact same flight path in my game.
