If the developer is no longer offering support for the product, how can users be confident that they will get functionality that they are paying for?

new to flight sim and xplane. wanted to practice IFR, and bought software from Reality XP. Although the company points you to Avsim for support, there does not seem to be any actual support here or on their website. Has anyone had any luck getting support for the RXP products, and how? Their does not seem to be any presence there.

I had a similar experience today. see my thread on the bundle discount. Apparently they don't accept email or phone calls. Sad

I am a new xplane user and just tried buying the GNS 530/430 bundle. Maybe it's just me, but I could not figure out how to apply the coupon. While strugglilng with that problem, somehow the purchase went through for the 530 only at $49.95. I would have like to get the 430 as well for $10 more with the coupon, but it just would not work. Applying the coupon was a needlessly opaque and arcane process. Is this by design? I hesitate to buy more Reality XP products until I can get this sorted out.
