  1. Okay, thanks for clarification. So the issue is on my end then. I almost NEVER see traffic at a correct FL, but always something like 700ft or 1400ft above/below the Flight Level Real Traffic shows at their radar screen (crosschecked with Flightradar24 as well). And yes: I am flying above Transition Altitude in a Flight Level (QNH is set to standard). Any other ideas what the problem could be? PSXT Tutor said maybe Simconnect? Too many conncetions? Would that make sense? Really appreciated if you could help. For me, thats an absolute immersion killer. On somedays when the offset is e.g. 800ft and you fly on an airway with opposite traffic your TCAS goes crazy. every couple of seconds a plane head on with 200ft separation.
  2. Okay, so can you confirm you see enroute traffic as well in different FLs than yours, although RT shows them for example as well at FL360 on the radar screen?
  3. Good Morning and thank you for your explanation. So if I understand correctly: RT aircraft are positioned exactly as in real life, which means for all flight sim users, we have to live with an altitude offset? I just want to understand if thats the case or if there is something going wrong in my setup. When YOU fly in MSFS at FL360, QNH at standard, with live MSFS weather and a RT Plane, that shows FL360 in the real traffic app, how does that traffic appear in MSFS, at what altitude/FL? Same as you are or a different one?
  4. The VATSIM comparison was just made, to show that the mistake is most likely not on my side. It would really be a pity to see all PSXT planes in a completly off altitude once above transition altitude/level. Just for confirmation: When you fly at FL360 over central europe with PSXT: Are the other planes at an reasonable FL or are they off? I hope you understand what I am asking. Is that a PSXT limitation or is it just me, who sees traffic at funny FLs?
  5. Sorry for the late reply, but I wasn't flying much in the meantime. Back to the problem: I am flying at VATSIM right now at FL310. A other VATSIM pilot ahead of me, showing perfectly -20 on Fenix TCAS. I switched to PSXT instead of PSXTraffic and all other traffic around me is flying at an offset. Log File attached:
  6. Thank you Nico for your reply. I did a screenshot with, what I believe, all important applications. Large https://ibb.co/60bv8kDV Your PSXT Tutor ChatGPT (great value, btw) suggested too many SimConnect connections. But even after a restart of PSXTraffic and RealTraffic, with no other SimConnect applications in the background, the same issue occurs.
  7. Hi Nico, I've been troubleshooting a recurring altitude discrepancy in enroute traffic using PSXTraffic with RealTraffic and MSFS 2020 (version 10.10.10). Here's the issue: While flying at FL370 with standard pressure set (1013 hPa / 29.92 inHg), I observe aircraft flying at e.g. FL370 in RealTraffic, But they are displayed visually ~700 ft too low in the simulator, compared to my own altitude. This offset is consistent across multiple aircraft and locations. The Altitude differences vary though. Somedays everyone is 900ft too low, another day they are 1300ft too low. What I’ve verified: METAR QNH is identical in MSFS and RealTraffic at the time of flight. Standard pressure is set correctly in my aircraft. No SimConnect errors in the PSXTraffic logs. I’m running almost no other SimConnect clients (no LittleNavMap, no GSX, etc.). I’ve tested with different LATERAL_RANGE and fresh parameters.xml. All VATSIM traffic appears at the correct FL. Here's an example: My aircraft: FL370 Traffic (e.g. TVP7772): FL370 per RealTraffic Observed altitude in MSFS: ~700 ft below me (instead of same level as expected) This suggests there might be: A misinterpretation of ADS-B data (e.g. GPS height vs. barometric FL), Or a SimConnect translation issue when positioning AI at FL in MSFS. I’d appreciate your thoughts – and whether this is expected behavior, or something worth investigating further. Let me know if I can provide specific logs or reproduce the issue again. I already have detailed PSXTraffic logs and QNH confirmation available. Thanks in advance, Luca PS: My RealTraffic app also stops updating its aircraft position after a few minutes. Traffic is still flowing, in the SIM and in RealTraffic, but my RealTraffic aircraft position is frozen.
