  1. I think based on all things being equal, the choice for GPU would be the Asus ROG Astral OC GeForce RTX 5090 32 GB Video Card and based on a very very very quick and preliminary search, the motherboard that I got was Asus ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard. I still want to research some more on the motherboard part of the equation however so that one isn't final yet.
  2. I'll do a little more research on MSI as well as ASUS. I currently have an ASUS in my 8 year old build and never really had any issues with it so maybe i'll just stick with them. Personal preference. 1 for the OS and system requirements, 1 for me and flight sim and my gaming and the 3rd for my wife and all of her work documents and things that she needs. I noticed a jump in wattage requirements when I went from a 4090 to a 5090. I'll go ahead and get the extra. As for the 5090s, I am finding them priced from $2,600 up to $3,700 on Amazon.
  3. Yeah they are still on amazon. Do you recommend the 5090?
  4. I got the go-ahead from my wife to build a new PC. I've always had a lower to mid-end PC that would run the sims, but on mid to low graphics settings. I want to build a PC that will be able to run on high graphics settings and not stutter if I get into complex environments or add on scenery. I've been looking at other members' rigs as well as what people who post on YouTube have, and I have come up with 2 different rigs. One rig is an AMD rig and the other is an Intel. My budget is $4-5k. Can you let me know what you think or any changes that you would make?
