Any ideas at all for making state boundaries for FSET?!!!

Hello, I made a KML file and put it into google erth - im using version 7.3.2.5776 becuse i understand it makes better kml files. I dropped mine into the app and made a white state block border of the area i wanted. I did a save place thing to kml. I watched a you tube vid thing and followed what he said. I dropped the file onto the tiles .exe, and it opened, but went to another country. My area had no borders. I made a wrking folder and put it in there but the fset app didnt read it in there. so i put it into the main thing and it didnt work there or did pressing the kml icon in the fset app. the file was renamed AreaKML.KML and i have got the Fset set to my folder tree to working folder. can you help me get this working? thank you.

First post here - hello from a virtual pilot interested in all ozzy and UK flying routes. Mainly fsx and some fs9 🙂
