I have been working on my home flight simulator to create a relatively close replica of the Piper PA28-235 that I fly in real life. I am using X-Plane 12, Air Manager for a 2D panel replicating the actual panel. We have an IFD-440 that I have replicated with an Ipad mini running IFD Trainer XP that operates Com1/Nav1 and the GPS. I also have the following propwash devices installed: PWS6000 audio panel, PWS 155 Dual radio (Com2/Nav2), PWS 320 transponder, and PWS 140 Autopilot. Prior to installing Pilot2ATC, all of the propwash devices worked great.
Once I installed P2A, the PWS 155 and the ipad running IFD Trainer XP will control the radios in P2A, but the PWS 155 will not show the frequencies. The Transponder will control the transponder in P2A, but same thing, no display. I have not tested the autopilot, but it appears the same, no display.
I would like to use these devices for a more realistic simulator to build "muscle memory" and use P2A to strengthen the IFR experience, with less interaction with it requiring a mouse, touch, etc. I understand there will be some learning and getting used to P2A.
Can someone please assist with this? The great and wonderful OZ, I mean MS Copilot tells me that I need to tell P2A to:
• Use X‑Plane COM Frequencies
• Use X‑Plane NAV Frequencies
• Use X‑Plane Transponder
• Use X‑Plane Audio Panel
• Use X‑Plane Autopilot
I cannot locate this in P2A. Supposedly it is under settings, and speech, but I am not seeing anything there.
