Hi everyone, Long-time lurker, first-time poster. I wanted to share a project my team has been working on for the past couple of years. We call it "motozolo". It started with a crazy idea: flight sims are great, but the experience of clicking a mouse to flip a switch on the overhead panel never felt right. So we decided to buy an actual A320 cockpit section. Not a mock-up, but the real avionics, the real frames, the real wiring. [Insert Pic 1 - The hangar with the A320 nose and scattered parts] [Insert Pic 2 - You sitting inside the real cockpit with the panel missing] [Insert Pic 3 - The messy wiring harness and multimeter testing] We spent the last 22 months reverse-engineering the logic from these real parts. Our goal wasn't to make a toy. Our goal was to see if we could fit the 100% functional layout of an A320 into a space of 0.18m² without losing the tactile feedback. We kept the NKK industrial switches, the real 32-detent pull/push knobs, and the actual mechanical feel of the throttle quadrant. We even worked directly with ProSim to get their A320 logic running perfectly on this hardware. [Insert Pic 4 - The finished desktop A32X Lite with the panel and screens] It's been a brutal journey. Moving a switch by 0.5mm to fit the overhead panel into an A4-paper-sized space drove our engineers crazy. But the result is something I'm incredibly proud of. I'm not here to spam links or sell anything. I just wanted to share the build process with a community that actually understands what it takes to make a proper home cockpit. If anyone has questions about how we integrated the real avionics or how the ProSim integration works, I'm happy to chat. Keep the blue side up.
