Hi simmers π Longest flight since a long time ago now, 7h 50mins with no time compression ( i am doeing all my flights without that time compression, by the way.. ) Flightplan: IFR 747-8_Hong Kong International Airport (VHHH) to Muscat International Airport (OOMS) RW25L. at 40000 feet into the blue.. approaching OOMS.. at the gate.. cheers π

New 737 NG's equipped with Split Scimitar Winglets, the first release in the 747 line with the -8/-8F and updates to all previous FSX models to make them compatible with P3D V2 during night. All available at the FSXAIBureau. P.S as far as I can tell at least two painter sites already have some paints done for the Scimitar models, flyingcarpet75.com and juergenbaumbusch.de Cheers. -
Hi simmers π From another 5h flight - Flightplan: LNM - IFR 747-8_Heathrow (EGLL) to Kairo International (HECA) RW05R This Plan was made with Simbrief and you all may know you can ( since some time now ) download your Simbrief flightplan within LNM and open it there directly what i find realy great, by the way.. The shots mainly show the arrival in HECA, less the general flight the last pic shows a FSLTL Traffic model near my parking position.. cheers π

Hi simmers π First longer flight 2023 ( WOWW 2023 ) IFR 747-8_Dallas-Fort Worth International (KDFW) to Panc (PANC) RW7R 6h 15mins, just two in Part 1.. Some may wonder why a Cathay Pacific fly from KDFW to PANC, this is a real live flight i picked out from from FlightAware today ! cheers π Happy new Year to all !!! π

I understand that PMDG will not model the EFB in the 777 and 747-8. Instead of leaving the EFB place vacant in the 747-8, PMDG can at least use the EFB as a graphical load manager and fuel manager with diagrams that show seating chart, fuel load distribution etc.. This looks visually better than loading fuel and passengers thru FMC. I'm just comparing with what i've seen in X-plane aircraft like SSG 747-8. Also, in SSG 747-8, when you zoom in all the way on the ND, you can see the airport layout.. will this feature be available in PMDG 747-8 v2? Vinod Kumar.
