Decided to purchase the GNS530 for XP12. Noticed there was an advertised sale for 30% off through March '24 and went ahead and clicked on the "Download 30% Special Coupon" and saved the file to desktop. Then, through the eCommerce Installer, when i clicked to redeem coupon file i chose the file i had just saved to desktop. Then after providing my Personal Info and Banking Info i tried to finalize the purchase. It ran through the processing and came up and said that the order could not be processed since the coupon is expired. Apparently the 30% coupon link, that is advertised on the storefront, has you download an expired coupon. Ended up just paying full price after so much friction with trying to purchase this product. And before all of this i had to removed ALL antivirus/firewall software from my machine just to be able to use the eCommerce software.
Now I am wishing i had never purchased the product.
Very dissatisfied with the purchasing experience. Now i understand why RealityXP has been so polarizing over the past couple years over being considered an "abandonware" product with miserable support and little to no updates.
The only way i can see RXP getting right on this matter is to reimburse me for the 30% off ($15) that I was incapable of using since a valid one was not possible to download. Even then, I do not see myself purchasing another product going forward. It's a real shame because i have been so happy with my GTN750 i purchased years ago.
Obviously the $15 is not a big deal, but one would expect to have a close to friction-less experience when giving a SOFTWARE COMPANY your money. I'm guessing this message will just be sent out into the ether with little support/resolution, but oh well.
Anyway, hope everyone has a great week and enjoy the virtual skies!!
