  1. Picked up my "new" V35 and flew it from Teterboro to Mifflin County KTEB-KRVL. This was an IFR flight at 8000 ft. About 170 miles at 160 knots over the ground. The later half of the flight is quite scenic, and I hope you enjoy! The paint is available from Crispy136: (he unfortunately left flightsim.to and his paints are now here https://www.flightsim.com/profile/269250-crispy136/content/?type=downloads_file) TEB is payware by Dreamflight (sold on contrail or other places/marketplace). KRVL is "handcrafted" and included in the base sim. Untitled-1 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled-3 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr A custom interior as well... 2. A relaxing flight from Norwood (outside of Boston, MA) to Wiscasset Maine. KOWD - KIWI. We transition the BOS class bravo and they allow for a 5500 ft cruise over the top of KBOS. Flight is about 45 min at 160 knots. 3. Hey Everybody, Just a few more quick shots that i found from a Wednesday night flight that i done to test a few things out in P3D, I think i departed out of Shoreham,EGKA if my memory serves me well ha-ha. These shots have been completely over edited but to a degree i quite liked the outcome of them. Still getting to grips with a few toys in Photoshop. Anyways i hope you like them and i will start uploading some new fresh material in the very near future. Good Evening to all and have a good one! Happy Flying!
  4. Hi, As far as I know the Bonanza A36 from Carenado don't have a RMI - Route Magnetic Indicator in the cockpit... and many times when I am departing from an Airport, I need to tackle a VOR/DME arc. Many of the tutorials I find to proceed with a VOR/DME arc, requiere a RMI instrument, and I think I don't have any inside the Bonanza A36, so I am wondering if do we have any videotutorial or tutorial available showing me how to follow a VOR/DME arc without RMI? Cheers I don't see any RMI ?
  5. Took advantage of the half off Carenado sale,The V Tail's a Beauty
  6. Just loaded Orbx's Creswell into the FSX and PNW. This is a wonderful addition and a great destination for flights from Stark's Twin Oaks. Nicely done painted names on taxiway, freeway overpasses, the lumberyard, all blended into the surrounding scenery seamlessly. Enjoy.
  7. To follow up the night IFR flight I posted, here is a day flight with exterior shots using PilotEdge ATC to fly from Ontario Ca to Oceanside Municipal. PilotEdge log
  8. I guess because I live in a rather flat geographically boring part of the world,(NYC), I love to fly over and around mountain areas. I always think to myself, what would happen if the engine quit over one of these areas? Where would I go? Rob
  9. Did some spontaneous vfr flying near LOWI, really bright day and needless to say, the sunvisor proved very useful B) Ofcourse no other tweaks but bit of sharpen and resizing and as always, comments are welcome
  10. Switzerland is one of my favorite flying areas. Lugano is -- if you've never landed there before -- quite challenging, because the ILS approach is very steep, with 6.65° degrees (normally you have 3°). Here are some screenshots of a landing I just did: X-Plane 10 (as always), Carenado Bonanza A36 (livery by myself), Aerosoft Lugano (X-Plane version), freeware ground photos, OSM buildings and Europe library
  11. I'm looking for suggestions about my next aircraft purchase: that classic plane -- the Beechcraft Bonanza! I've always really liked the look it these birds, I don't yet have one in my small library of planes, and I have consistently enjoyed Carenado's products, so I figured I'd go with one of the models they offer. Here are three available: F33A: www.fspilotshop.com/carenado-f33a-bonanza-p-2585.html V35B: www.fspilotshop.com/carenado-v35b-bonanza-p-2814.html A36: www.fspilotshop.com/carenado-bonanza-a36-p-3448.html Any suggestions, preferences, disappointments, etc? (I'm slightly leaning away from the F33A which I think doesn't not have a GPS -- I could be wrong though.) One thing to keep in mind is that I have a so-so simming machine at the moment, so if for some reason one of these is a resource-hog (which I kinda doubt), I'd probably rather be safe than sorry. Thanks!
