My problem is that when i attempt to do a save flight, the only way i can get anything showing in my FLIGHT SIMULATOR FILES folder is to do a default SAVE FLIGHT within FS but when i try to go to that saved flight, what is in the folder is a file which is labled simply .rcd not for instance CYVY-APP-1.rcd selecting the plain just .rcd file does nothing.Any suggestions?

have you clicked the .flt/.wx button in rc, to define the path to where fs stores the .flt and .wx files? that is how rc knows where to put the .rcd filejd

Yes i have but went through the exersise again and things seem to be working now so maybe i didn,t have it right the first time. Sorry for the bother - just learning the ropes here.Thanks for your help JD,
