Back again, Can anyone explain what mite be wrong with my set up i was holding at heathrow 09r whilst the plane in front began take off roll, when another 747 rolled up on the opposite taxi way as if he was lining up at a hold when he decided to go to full throttles and took off across the grass into oblivion hahaha any ideas?Brett Anderson Stafford UK

Yep, I've seen that happen (can't remember which airport)... I was just parked, getting flight ready, taking some notes. then I saw an aircraft doing just like you said, except that it never took off, it just accelerated like crazy... then, it came back, taxiing slowly across the grass... only saw that once or twice.. no idea how to replicate.. but it was funny!
