No ILS Display on 757 and 777

Featured Replies

Hello,I have noted that others are having similar ILS problems ... butmine affect both the 757 and 777. I get no ILS Display whenlanding ... is this associated with the "memory leak" issue ?I have no problem when I reinstall the original 777 ... so I assume the problem is with one of the new dlls ... is anyoneelse having a similar problem ... is there a fix for this ...or will it be addressed on the next Fly II patch ...Regards,Virgil T. Virgil,My ILS displays work perfectly about 99% of the time with an occasional G/S tracking issue related to the memory leak. f you are not displaying the ILS scale and pointers, then the ILS is not tuned. Make sure that you tune the ILS frequency into the ILS control head on the center pedestal and once the signal is valid, the pointers and scales will appear on the EADIRegardsPaul :-cool

Hello Paul,I have performed the same flight from CYVR to KPDX landingon the same runway 10L ... and I am certain that the ILSfrequency is correct ... I have no problem with ILS displayson the 777 if I use the original install. Once I upgrade tothe 757 ... and apply the associated upgrade to the 777 ... thenthings do not work any more ... ILS displays that is ... so Isuspect that a common dll may be susceptible to this memory leakissue ... I am running Windows 2000. I also have noticed thatthe 777 does some oscillations as it descends ( again ... whenI run the original ... it runs smooth ).Regards !Virgil
