  1. Please open a support ticket at Support.precisionmanuals.com and we will be happy to try to help you sort out what might be causing the issue.
  2. If you are unable to install your products, the solution is actually quite simple. Open a Support Ticket with Support.precisionmanuals.com so that we can help you resolve the issue as that is the only official means of support for your products. I am certain we can get whatever issue you have resolved if you simply follow these procedures.
  3. Alberto, F/D modes are controlled directly from the respective FCC under certain conditions. This independent F/D operation occurs when neither A/P is engaged in CMD, both F/D switches are ON and one of the following mode conditions exists: • APP mode engaged with LOC and G/S captured • GA mode engaged and below 400 feet RA • TO mode engaged and below 400 feet RA.
  4. Bruce, I have passed the information along to the Development team to look into. I don't know that we had the data to do that properly when the NGX was released. In any case it's something to look at for any future updates to the NGX.
  5. Grant, Is this occurring during Taxi of the aircraft or after landing? If you are continuing to have trouble and need official support you really should open up a ticket with our Support system and we will be happy to look into it further.
  6. Please open a support ticket with us and I will be happy to send you the tool required to fix the issue. Most likely an FSX Registry issue.

Dave, I haven't heard of any other customers reporting anything like that to us in Support but can you please open a support ticket and attach all of your detailed information including the saved flights and we will see if we can duplicate it. The only thing that sticks out in your list of add ons that might affect the approach would be My Traffic, What kind of traffic levels are you running and have you tried pulling those back a bit to see if there is any difference in behavior?
  8. Rob, Only issue we've been made aware of is a reversed animation for the Rudder (on all airplanes not just the DC-6). LMR is aware and was looking at it so it should be addressed.
  9. Jim, Unfortunately FSX has a limit on the number of animations one can create and we are right up on that limit with our models. Also, the breeze in Cairo from what I recall wasn't all that refreshing, so personally I just turn the Left pack on and cool down the flight deck.
  10. Anders, It was only put on the 777-300 due to the extra 15.5 feet behind the gear as compared to the 777-200LR
  11. Justin, I think Kyle's point is that the R2800 Cowl Flap performance is not something that many users are familiar since there are so few of these birds left flying. That being said, we did have a team of pilots who actually fly the DC-6 then also then flew the PMDG model and critiqued it's performance and they felt the aircraft performance matched up quite well with how the real aircraft behaved. If you have concrete data indicating that what we modeled is wrong, feel free to send it to us in a Support ticket and we will pass it along to the team to look into, but saying that you "Think" it's incorrect without data to back it isn't really helpful in any way.

    777 Checklists can indeed be modified by each airline to meet the specific needs of the carrier but they must be approved by Boeing. Almost every airline has it's own customized software load for the ECL system. The Checklist on the PMDG 777 is the base Boeing set as that is what we are allowed to use under license. Using an airlines modified checklist would require specific legal permission from each airline and a significant amount of code modification to monitor switches and selections so the Boeing base set is what is available for use.

  17. David, On the fleet we operate the Auto position was actually relabeled from AUTO to ON so now we have OFF/ON/ON. The Ding still occurs but the sign never turns off.
  18. Inigo, You are correct in your understanding. It would see that wheel as a constant Trim input which is an Autopilot inhibit. I would recommend mapping two buttons on the X-52 for Nose Up Trim and Nose Down Trim instead and removing that wheel input as a trim input. You should be able to save that as different profile in the Saitek profile manager and use that when you fly large aircraft that don't use a trim wheel. Just load that specific profile and you should be all set.
  19. Alexander, Are you using a Flight Controller or just the Arrow keys on the keyboard for your Column Inputs?
  20. Gerhard, You do indeed need to remove your original 777 or 737 installation using the Remove software control panel. Once you have Uninstalled the original, run the updated installer and you should be all set.
  21. Like Kyle was explaining, try renaming or deleting the FSUIPC.ini file and allow a new one to regenerate and see if it stops the issue. I'm betting that it will.
  22. Luigi, As your problem should now be resolved after I answered your ticket earlier, I am locking this post due to the continued downturn in general decency that seems to plague these forums.
  23. Daniel, You should be able to restore it by Uninstalling and then reinstalling either the NGX or 777. Both installers should install the service. Might want to consider disabling any protective software that is running as it sounds like something is deleting the files from your computer.
  24. Mike, The 747-400 V2 will have an entirely new paint kit released for it after the product has been released.
