I have only ever attempted a couple of repaints and really don't understand a lot about it. Does anyone here now if repaints that worked on the original PMDG 747 will work on the new 747 v2? I have a week off work and I'd like to make a few while we wait for the release but don't want to put in the time nor energy if they will not transfer over. Sorry if this has been covered already, I did a search and found nothing on it. Mike Bartils

I do believe it shall be worth the wait. I still fly the 747-400 most even though I have all the other PMDG products. I just like the airplane Mike Bartis

I agree with the British Airways (Landor) scheme. All the McPhat liveries I own are really dark and grey - not sure if anyone else has noticed it or it's just my machine.. Qantas_guy Mike Bartils

I know it's old........but it's oh so good :) I'll be waiting with baited breath fir the new release too. Some of the things I'd like to see are....... The beacon light changed to flash at the right rate (It blinks too fast), Better annimations of the engine start-up (Fans), Weather Radar, Heat Haze behind engines. The ability to have ground support vehicles and a realistic push back tug wherever you are. One user mentioned about having the Jepp charts available on the flight deck, that's hot. How about having a couple of pilots up front too. In the VC, just seeing open seats is kinda weird :) The biggest thing that I think would add to the product line would be to add "visual" options for the 747-100, 200, 300 and SP. Just based on the -400 flight deck, like the 748. When the question is raised about what changes we'd like to see, I hope you understand that I really do still love the current version. I fly it most days. I'm excited to fly the new one, and I'm sure it will be all that can be done with available technology. PMDG rules, and I will forever be a customer. Yours at Altitude Qantas Guy
