August 16, 200223 yr Why is the temp always a negative value? I read in the manual that it is not supposed to be in the really low negative areas when I fly. What am I doing wrong? - Aside from just flying at a much lower altitude than FL370, is there something else I should be doing to keep the fuel in a warmer range? Thanks.Chris Catalano
August 16, 200223 yr When you fly high temperature of the fuel will always be negative ©. Temperature of the jet fuel will be about 20-30 deg. warmer than surrounding air due to speed/friction. However I have no idea if such detail is modeled in our sims (I suspect even 767PIC doesn't do it well).Michael J. Michael J.
