Rob - Paint Kit & B757 patch question

Featured Replies

Hi Rob,Is PMDG going to release the paint kit and a patch for the B757?Also, will PMDG release a patch for the B777?Either way, can PMDG make an announcement so these issues could be put to rest.Regards,Bob Lyddy

HelloWhy don't we have an official answer ???THANK YOUMarcVarlamoff

Hi Marc,I agree with you. Ever since the 757 for FlyII was released PMDG's level of participation in this forum has dropped dramatically. I'm sure they're all busy with real life jobs (as we all are) but that never seemed to keep PMDG from actively participating in the past. When they finally updated their web page regarding the cancelation of the TB-9 and SkyArrow, no announcements were made here.To me, it's obvious they're all hard at work on their FS2K2 product line and have completely dropped the support of their FlyII products. I may be wrong in this statement, but I don't see anything from PMDG to the contrary. (just my opinion). Here's hoping they'll come through for their loyal and die-hard customers.Regards,Bob Lyddy

Bob-I am not Rob, but I will reply regarding the Fly!II product line support, esp. remembering the MCP747 you inquired about. I had a couple conversations with Andrew Mc Lean, where he's still questioning the value of sending me a test unit (i.e. he hasn't shipped it yet).If we can provide to him an adequate number of people will purchase it for Fly!II, then it would be worth our time to actually sit down and do it. If it's just for one or two people... well...Cheers,

Hi Lefteris,I remember, glad to hear is's still being discussed. I already own the MCP747. With regard to the test unit, was the intention for you to return it to Andrew once development has been completed or were you going to keep it? If the MCP747 was to be returned I don't understand why he won't ship it. If it's liability for a possible damaged unit, hopefully something can be worked out. I'll create a post to see what type of response there may be. If there's not enough interest I would like to continue this conversation about having a dll developed. I'm willing to ship you my unit for period a specified period of time. Your thoughts on this?Bob Lyddy

Hello,I wonder when we're going to hear from PMDG about the paintkit and patch? Maybe after the YAK and J41 is released, maybe tommorrow, maybe next week, maybe........ (or just forget it), I'm just thinking aloud.chris salviejorpll
