November 13, 200223 yr Many moons ago (i.e. back in the FS95/98 days), PMDG published operating manuals for many popular FS aircraft and provided them at a nominal charge. They don't appear to be sold anymore.I have made reference to these manuals on AVSIM in the past (as I continue to use them for reference) and people have asked me where they can get a copy of such manuals. I am just wondering does PMDG still sell these manuals? If so, how much, and who should people contact? Thanks,J
November 16, 200223 yr Commercial Member J-The manuals you speak of were originally published for FS98 (which is, yes, many moons ago!)Currently our products come with highly detailed manuals- most in excess of 250+ pages.I might be pursuaded to dust off those old MSFS offerings and make them available as a group- but only if there were a real interest in them....Robert S. December 7, 200223 yr Thanks for the reply, Robert. There's a recurring clamor for accurate weight/balance, takeoff/landing charts, and other common POH materials for the 67 and 57 over in the PIC forum.I still refer to them quite often - one of the few 'legacy' products from the FS98 days that still gets quite a bit of mileage in my cockpit. The data is every bit applicable now as it was then. I was sad to see them go. I get asked rather frequently how one gets access to these charts - I don't really have an answer for these people since these charts no longer exist. Would be happy to send people your way - that is if you are so inspired to 'blow the dust' off those offerings! ;-)J
