December 24, 200223 yr Rob & Co. (PMDG):For the past month or so, I've been flying almost exclusively your fantastic 757. Pete Sterling is responsible for this because he repainted it with the LAPA and the Tango-01 liveries. The problem is that, the more I fly it, the more "bugs" I find. I think this is a known bug, but is there any chance that the autopilot could be modified so that it can handle cross-wind landings? Today I tried an autoland at KOAK Rwy 29 with 25 kt winds from 350 and I ended up landing almost 70 feet to the left of the runway.I've also posted some problems with some Night Textures (not the gear problem) and I've also found a couple of minor errors on the instrument panel.Realistically, what are the chances that we could get your help to solve these problems?Happy Holidays to everybody!Alejandro AmigorenaCheshire, CTFly! January 16, 200323 yr Since no one answered my post "Questions from a Prospective user", maybe you could help me finding the answers for what I asked, particularly that question regarding the "engine out" behaviour of the PMDG757. I once owned the 777IGW, and I really didn't like the way it acted when I shuted down one of the engines and the bird kept flying almost straight... Is this fixed in the 757?Thx in advance for any answer!!!

January 16, 200323 yr Jose:I did try this last night so I could answer your question. I think you'll be glad to know that engine out is perfectly modeled in the 757.I'll have to hook up my yoke and pedals to determine whether the Flight Director is providing "raw data" or "computed data" while flying an ILS, I think it DOES provide "computed data".Don't let more days go by without flying the wonderful 757. The manual alone is worth the price!!!Once you buy it, don't forget to download the NAVDATA from the download section in PMDG's website, you can also create your own! There are also a couple of repaints at PMDG's site and many more from Pete Sterling in the Avsim file library.Enjoy!!!Alejandro AmigorenaCheshire, CTFly! January 17, 200323 yr Jose:Last night I tried another ILS approach and it certainly displays computed data, it's fantastic. The only limitation seems to be the lack of correction for a lateral wind component.Enjoy!Alejandro AmigorenaCheshire, CTFly!
