February 28, 200323 yr Hello Guys at PMDG, this seems like a cool plane you are making!:D I won't ask about release dates, as I have been looking at this forum before. :) But I have one request for this addon , and that is please include REAL sounds in this plane , I am a REAL sound-junkie! ;-) by this I mean: -Real startup-sounds for both the outside and inside,-Real shutoff-sounds for both the outside and inside,-The right impression of wind-sound when in the air-The overall the sound of CFM 56-7B20 when inside and outside the AC-The trim-sounds,and the Aircondioning-sound in the cockpit, Avionics-sounds and thrustreverser opening-sounds+++ pheuu.. :( Now that would be AWESOME..:7 :7 :7 Now If You can get this right, I would almost be buying this addon just for the awesome sound of the CFM 56-7B20 :-hah ,I guess if you record the sounds right, and all the other stuff, I am positive that will have the best plane ever made for fs period!:D KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!:-beerchug (sorry for all the Smilies)

February 28, 200323 yr As well as the prgramming and flight skills of the PMDG team, I think the choice of a 73NG is perfect as well. Unlike it's earlier cousin (733/734), the NG appears to have the range for not just short haul but also medium haul- especially when you incorporate the BBJ and the additional fuel tanks that are optional. At least one European airline is flying a BBJ across "The Pond" from Germany to the US, as a business only class flight. That means lots more realistic options in flights. The last time we had that was with PIC, where you could realistically be in a 76 or 75 cockpit. The NG panels appear to be user programmable by the factory; I believe that SWA has their NG's resembling more of the 733/744 style panel for crew compatibility.Bruce. ASEL, Instrument.
