Hello i'm very eager to buying your new plane! I think i'ts the most detailed boeing ever made. But one question: there has been said that during the BETA testing, there was going to be a post on the framerates en minimum system, I can't find it anywhere and was wondering what kind of system i need.My config. : AMD Athlon 1600+ 256MBRAM and a 32MB shared videocard. Will it run (smooth) on my system??PLease respont, and thank in advance..William

Well I am one of the beta testers and you can see my specs below. I have wonderful frame rates. I have my slider locked @ 30 and get that both in cockpit and spot view. The only item I disable is Aircraft shadows. My video card is the very first GF3 released if that tells you anything ;). [h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith[/h5][h6]Are You Ready For The Next Great one? I was getting about 15FPS at 1280X1024 32 bit with the VC (but no cabin) version. I may need to bump some display settings down to make it completely smooth - the visual model did cause quite an FPS hit on my system. I'm buying a whole new system the week 2004 comes out though so I'm not worried... ;)My system is very similar to Randy's but his CPU is better, which appears to be the main factor in NG framerate...1.4Ghz Athlon, 512MB DD266, GeForce 3 64MB (original)New one is gonna be: 3.2Ghz P4, i875P chipset, 1GB DDR400, All-In-Wonder Radeon 9800 Pro - I hope I'll get at least 20FPS with everything maxed in FS2004 with this config. Hi WIlliam,Randy already told you the story. Some more technical details.Your auto flight, FMC and panel graphics systems will work within 90% accuracy for as low as 2-3 FPS, round 95% at 4 FPS and 100% accurate from 5 FPS upwards. Also beta testing reports on a PIII 800 (!) indicated sort of 9-10 frames with display sliders mid way. I guess this says it all.All I can say is enjoy it when you get it Captain, while the whole team will be your reliable ground staff !Regards,Vangelis====================================== E. M. Forgot to post this last night - I switched to the 2D panel only model and I'm getting FPS in the mid 20's now - it runs great, cranked up the LCD Smoothness option too and man the displays look so real!Ryan
