Hello,I have been following the process of the 737's since they were announced some time ago, I have not only read most if not all the constructive comments made, but also have given my $2 worth too.Now I Have Two questions of my own I wish to ask.First, over the last month Virgin Blue in Australia, have bought in the new "VSD

Sean-as the lead developer, and the guy who develops PMDG's graphic display systems, I can assure you we're definitely going to be exploring all such systems for addition to our products.Sometimes, the issue isn't our willingness to add such advanced systems, rather the availability of information provided by MS FS so we can do it correctly. For example, for the VSD, we need to have adequate representation (and detailed too!) of the terrain underneath, as well as in front, of the aircraft. That is not necessarily available with the current SDK.Same holds true for the Weather Display - unless we have the data from FS (we're discussing the appropriate data structures with Microsoft Developers), we're never going to give you a display that shows "kindof" what should be there...Cheers,

Thankyou for the Quick Reply,Yes I understand, and thought that FlightSim itself could be an issue that would present itself.Understand 100%, pitty they wouldnt spend a little more time "developing" aircraft systems, then the amount of focus they put into scenery.ThanksSean McCormack(OzFast Hosting Australia)

I've seen this technology on the Apollo Airbus series (terrain radar) but am not sure if it's really rendering all that's there. Interesting how some come up with this stuff with no clues from the SDK huh?[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. One possible solution: I know that 2k2 might not offer the terrain feature, but i know FS9 (cent. of flight) def does, because I saw some graphical representation of the terrain on the GPS demo video. would pmdg ever consider releasing an upgrade for users once fs9 comes out, if its not possible to include the VSD in 2k2? If not tats fine, im still buying this product either way?

Yes, Anything is possibly, and if FS9 offers that, then that could possibly be an update for this excellent product.. or an entension. However its PMDG decision, and im sure that what ever happens in the future with this product, It will be a great SuccessCheers,Sean McCormack(OzFast Hosting Australia)
