Bulfer's FMC Guide

Featured Replies

Before I'm off to vacation (and stop nerving with questions for a while), here's one more for the PMDG team:It has been mentioned that the FMC will be an almost 100% replica of the real thing, except the stuff that is not applicable in FS. What exactly were you referring to ? Or in other words : With regards to Bulfer's FMC Guide and your NG, which part of the Guide would not make sense to read then (besides the obvious stuff such as maintenance and abnormals) ?Michael

Lefteris,I know it's been discussed, but will you guys consider modeling the winds aloft page of the FMC at a later date, posibly for the FS2004 patch? FS2004's weather engine combined with ActiveSky wxRE will actually allow for a pretty realistic winds aloft and prediction environment. Both wxRE and FSMeteo can generate a winds aloft prediction if a flight plan is inputted into the program...Thanks!Ryan

Ryan-there's no end to things that will be done LATER. However, we must draw the line somewhere, if we're going to release for FS2002 (and still keep the company profitable, you know?)We're all VERY enthusiastic about our product - rest assured, we're not going to be abandoning it, or making it a one-off situation, especially if it gives us enough reward (in terms of customer satisfaction, not $$$).Cheers,

I'm sure it will be great but I think that it's not that wrong to mention some aspects that are not included (like winds aloft) because there won't be that much blames, dissapointed people ("You haven't said that XY is not included: refund") and questions ("Where's the ACARS ATC req. page?!") after the release! Not telling you to enummerate all that your plane doesn't have but at least some aspects so one isn't too much disappointed.Regards,Stefan
