July 2, 200322 yr Hi there !I would like to install my 737NG on my Desktop PC and my Notebook ? What do i have to do ? Is it possible ? Thank you !Tobias.
July 2, 200322 yr No, unfortunetly PMDG lisencing(sp?) scheme does not allow this. You can only install on one PC/Notebook. Sorry :(
July 2, 200322 yr Commercial Member Tobias,The only way this can be done is via the license transfer procedure which requires deactivating one before using the other. If you plan to use one for a long time (say for a trip) accomplish this procedure and we will send the licenses as required to accomplish the swap. July 3, 200322 yr Another problem is when you would like to use the program "Wideview" (flightsim on several screen in a network) then you must have the exact addons on all the involved pc's.There is my problem................
July 3, 200322 yr Commercial Member AngelYou can download the PMDG bird on any machine however once you install and use the registration code generator, that license will only work on that machine. You can certainly load this up on your laptop and then transfer it to your new machine at a later date so long as you follow the transfer instructions.RegardsPaul GollnickTechnical Operations/Customer Operational SupportPrecision Manuals Development Group[www.precisionmanuals.com] Paul Gollnick Manager Customer/Technical Support Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com

July 3, 200322 yr >Another problem is when you would like to use the program>"Wideview" (flightsim on several screen in a network) then you>must have the exact addons on all the involved pc's.>There is my problem................Hmm.. I have flown the DF737 for instance to test wideview over 2 PC's. Tha client PC had a strictly default installation, as I was only to test wideview, not use it (takes too long to install everything for a 30 minute test :) ). That worked with no problems at all.. I can imagine that you can create a "dummyplane" with the PMDG bitmaps if you want to have cockpit view on your client PC's, the panel itself, or even the model or FDE isn't required. That is if you are using one client PC for spot view, that PC would require the model. The panel itself and the FDE is only reguired to be installed on the server PC. I assume that you use the server PC for joystick inputs and panel displays. The clients are simply following the server PC in slew mode, and dosent require a spesific FDE to be loaded.. The "dummyplane" can be created by taking for instance the default Cessna 172SP, and changing the aircraft.cfg to match the titles on the PMDG 737, and then change the panel.cfg and copy the bitmaps you cant to use into the cessna panel folder. I can't see any reason on why that wouldnt work.. And another sollution is to map the server FS folder as a network drive on the clients, and run all the clients on the server FS installation. Don't know if that would bypass the hardware block, but who knows..
