July 2, 200322 yr Hi, I dont understand what is happening but many times I am flying and the aircraft falls down to ground from an altitude of 25000 feet or for example goes to an altitude of 39000 feet, moving very quickly itself and with the message bank angle, bank angle more than N times. Also when the weather changes, some thing happens in the same way. What to do? I can almost not fly one minute without happening this situation. It happens also after minimizing or maximizing other program, like msn messenger or irc or something: when I return to FS and open the window, the bank angle thousand times again and the aircraft falling down to the ground.I did not also receive my activation code and more than 24 hours are left. Thanks, Coimbra
July 2, 200322 yr Also when I park the aircraft and then i minimize FS and for example 5 minutes after I return to FS again, the aircraft is in a complete different position, or in a garden or in a forest or something, but not at the gate where it was parked when I left FS! Only happens with PDMG aircrafts! If you have suggestions, please writeCoimbra
July 3, 200322 yr A lot of posts from everybody but no answer to me and i can not fly the bvird more than some minutes! :(could you please answer? thanksCoimbra
July 3, 200322 yr Could you give a clearer picture of what exactly you're doing when this happens, are you using the auto pilot? I would love to help you out but I see maybe english is not your native tongue? [h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith[/h5][h6]The Next Great one? July 3, 200322 yr Hi Randy,English isn't my native tongue either, but I experienced the same problem yesterday. I tried to track the problem down but was not able to determine any specific pattern to cause this problem. I wanted to do a flight from LAS to LAX and I switched to other programs (such as FSBuild, FSMeteo, ...) a couple of times. After starting FS2002, the airplane usually stands on the appron. After switching to other programms, the airplane started to act crazy. It always banked to the left and into the ground with the message 'bank angle', 'bank angle', ...I restarted FS2002 a couple of times and finally it would work. After the crazy behaviour, I tried to reload the airplane without success. Even after switching from PMDG to PSS and back again wouldn't work. The PSS airplanes had the same behaviour actually. They started to bank left and into the ground. I never experienced this before! I think, after I had created a new flight (and not taken the saved one), it worked, but I am totally not sure. Maybe I can verify it tonight. Please let me know, if I can be of further assistance. This thing drove me really nuts yesterday but anyhow, I am quite pleased with what I saw so far.Regards, Mark
July 3, 200322 yr Mark,Since the PSS aircraft had similar behavior, it sounds like you may have a controller problem. In FSUIPC there are a couple of settings you can select to reduce "Noise" from a joystick or controller. Try setting them and see what happens. I am not at home right now so can't give you the exact check boxes. Also, you may want to try recalibrating your joystick and see if it is moving the calibration dot when sitting in the centered position. If it is, this may be causing your problem. While you are in the calibration menu, also ensure that your throttle slider is not "jumping around" as well.Let me know if this worked for you.Thx,George George Morris
July 3, 200322 yr Going from memory here.......In the FSUIPC configuration, make sure that 'eliminate spike something or other' is checked(all 3 of them), and check smooth airspeed for external programes. That should help, me thinks.
