Featured Replies

This is one area for me on this release that I cant quite get a grasp of.......I already have PIC767 on my system so how do I get the download from Navdata to work with my PMDG 737.....what is the installation process. At least before the SID/STARS are available I would like to put in way points on the FMC and fly my routes that way...Can some one help me out.Thank youRandy Smith

If you have PIC767 on your system already, you need do nothing else. The navdata is already there. If you want to update the database, you'll need to go to the website listed, download the proper file and install to the default directory.Best,Bill

Hey, it's almost like talking to myself here ;). You don't have to Do anything *special*, other than download the newest AIRAC 0304 and install where you always have. THe aircraft will locate the folder.[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith[/h5][h6]The Next Great one? Is it possible to have different navdata for 767PIC and PMDG737NG? I had to get the latest for PMDG737NG to work, but now I am worried about what I have done to PIC. Yes, of course I have a backup copy of my old data.Lee Hetherington (KBED)

Hey Lee, I am not sure about that one, I know others have installed it in another location (not sure if they even have PIC 767) and it has found it, just what the logic is behind finding-using it I don't know, maybe Anthony can shed some light. The navdata MUST be located at c:program filesmicrosoft gamesfs2002fmcwpnavdataIf FS2002 is installed in any other directory (for example: c:fs2002) I have found that the FMC does not pick it up.Steve Mhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg2.53Ghz P4 | 512 MB SDRAM | Geforce 4 MX400 64MB | 80GB HDD | WinXP Pro | DX9

Could I make a request that in a future release PMDG first look in their PMDG folder (perhaps PMDGnavdata) before looking in Wilco's 767PIC folder? It really would be nice to keep the two separate from a modularity point of view. I'm thinking PMDG could use Wilco's as a fallback, but if you've installed navdata specifically for PMDG, it would be preferable to use this.I don't like forcing me to update my 767PIC navdata when PMDG is unhappy with what I already have. New navdata can and have contained bugs of their own.Lee Hetherington (KBED)
