This is the order I programmed it - in case it's wrong and my fault.Enter Dep. ICAO, and Dest. ICAO, go to DEP/ARR page, select runway and SID. Then to RTE page, select NEXT PAGE to get the route itself, and here's the thing, after the final fix in the SID, there is a ROUTE DISCONTINUITY. Is this right?AlexEDIT: Incidentally, I can get to what I considered correct by pressing DELETE and then the R LSK beside the five boxes above the discontinuity.

Yes it is.[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith[/h5][h6]The Next Great one? PMDG's 737NG is here![/h6]
" A little learning is a dangerous thing"
[h5]AMD XP 2200 |MUNCHKIN 512 DDR RAM |ECS[/b ] K7S5A MB |GF3 64 MEG @ 215/545|WIN XP PRO |MITSUBISHI DIAMOND PLUS 91 19"[/h5]

Alex,AFAIK that is correct. You should note that if you have a ROUTE DISCONTINUITY, you can hit the LSK for the waypoint below the discontinuity, and then press the LSK(both on the right side) on the same line as the discontinuity, and that will clear the discontinutiy. For FYI :)

That is, if you are on the RTE page(can you have a RTE DISCON on the RTE page? I do not know.....must be tired.....)You can do this on the LEGS page for sure, except switch right LSK to left LSK ;-)

Alex-that's the correct behavior for the FMC.In order NOT to get the DISContinuity, you need to have selected a route leg FIRST, that is the ending point of the SID. THEN you go and select the SID in the DEP/ARR page.
