July 6, 200322 yr It would be nice if the following items change their initial state when entering the cold and dark cockpit:Probe heaters OFF; after start itemEngine cutoff switches OFFOther issues I noticed:Before putting ground power online and selecting the AC source, it shows 70 amps AC (?) should read zero.Selecting the electric hydraulic pumps after engine start does not always extinguish the yaw damper light.Fuel consumption logic does not reflect reality. Center tank should be used first with all pumps on.It would be nice to have the unscheduled descent light implemented(easy to program)Where is the CWS?All and ALL and VERRRYY nice product.Willem
July 7, 200322 yr I completely agree regarding the cold and dark cockpit settings! In fact, I think there are a few more items. I don't think that the yaw damper is ever switched off, for instance.BTW, I have had the unscheduled descent light come on, so your wish has already been granted :-)Leo Bakker
July 9, 200322 yr I just found out that the yaw damper switch is tripped to off if the electrical power to the yaw damper switch is removed. So the sim was more accurate than my statement in this matter, sorry! But I am quite sure that the fuel cutoff switches are at cutoff :-)Leo Bakker
July 9, 200322 yr What would be actually nice is a panel config tool, PSS style to choose the type of situation you want to start with, such as "cold/dark", "engines off" or all on like now. This would avoid having to select the cessna, shut it down and then select the 737. I did save a situation but then I encountered problems with switches not in the right position etc. For a sim that takes reality and simulated B737NG operations seriously I think a "cold and dark" situation is a must.Maybe you can take it into account for the patch or future updates.Thanks.Regards,Bjorn
July 10, 200322 yr Regarding your note about the fuel consumption,I went home at lunch and started a flight from ESSA to LPMA. I forgot to turn the center pumps on and also noticed an imbalance between the right and left tank which I adjusted by closing down the pump for the tank that had less fuel. I suppose it happened because I was on APU for a long time and that draws fuel from one of the wing tanks.I got it adjusted, turned all pumps on again including the center and noticed that fuel now was being taken from the central tank only as it should. So that part works for me!Haven't been home again yet so I have no idea what the situation looks like now - if someone sees a Scandinavian 736 without a pilot somewhere above Spain, that should be me! :)/Krister Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------
July 10, 200322 yr I agree that would be nice, although I would prefer to be able to put any switch in any position and have it stay there if I save the situation. There are some strange things going on with these saved situations. Today I started with a cold and dark situation that I had created myself and it had the electrical generator switches stuck in the off position, which of course is impossible since they are spring-loaded to neutral!Leo Bakker
