Landing lights in 2d panel?

Featured Replies

I was wondering if the a/c features landing lights visible from the 2d cockpit. I was using the Southwest livery and outside in spot view they all worked fine, but in VC and 2d panel nothing. Is this just an issue with the southwest livery or does the plane not have them, if this is the case I really hope you guys add them because it really is frustrating to try and land or taxi in the [email protected]

You mean you could not just hit the aircraft menu and check the default livery??EDIT: I have just checked the Southwest livery and it is fine with lights in all panels. Are you using the first SWA release? Try downloading again.[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith[/h5][h6]The Next Great one? Hello Adam,I know that Randy's answer probably covered all you need to know, but I just checked my set up and I do have landing and taxi lights visible in the 2D cockpit in all three modes of the Southwest livery. I will say that there is a distinctive difference somehow when using the 2D only mode (my preference). In that 2D only mode with my set up the light looks "better", in the two VC modes it appears as a very bright horizontal line, almost a "washout". I have not tried to tweak my settings though. I'm running a RADEON 9700Pro.I don't have any quick fix suggestions, but maybe someone with some constructive ideas can suggest what to look at.Good luck,Joe LorencPhiladelphia/Charlotte Hub Manager, Carolina Operations, VN7 Networkhttp://www.vn7network.com/

Thank you very much then, I downloaded the textures before the a/c was available, I just redownloaded the new ones will try this out, and sorry I couldn't try out the PDMG a/c because I deleted It, I really only wanto to fly a real livery a/c. I do like their paint job though. Thanks guys for the quick answers and sorry I could not solve it on my own by switching [email protected]

HiI have noticed the same thing. In the VC models the landing or taxi lights from the 2D panel look way too bright and make it almost impossible to see anything they would normally just illuminate. As a matter of fact, whenever I use the VC models, when taxiing with the taxi light on at night using the 2D panel, I do not see the taxi light turn with the nosewheel: its stationery! Upon using the 2D panel-only version the lights look normal. Any idea why this might be happening?Regards,Zoltan HegedusBudapest, Hungary
