G'Day everyone. I really want this plane but cant convince my parents to let me buy it online. They dont like the idea of buying things online as they have "herd" stories about people being robbed of their money since they have posted their card numbers online. I dont have my own VISA as Im only 16. I also said that its much cheaper to buy online and that you have a discount if you buy the addon now rather than wait until the update for FS2004.What sort of assurance can PMDG give me to this problem. It is 100% secure? What can I do to convinve my parents?Cheers.Ryan

Could you please explain what happens and who recieves the cards details? If something does go wrong for what ever reason. eg, more money was taken than the price of the addon.....what happens?Its really hard to convince my parents and I doubt I will succeed this time.Cheers,Ryan

Ryan,In the event there was an overcharge or something to that effect (not likely at all - I did this with my Visa and it was charged the correct amount) then your parents would just have to dispute the charge with the card company. That's not gonna happen though, PMDG are great and very honest guys.If your parents are reading this, I've been buying things online for 5 or 6 years now, ever since it became possible and I've NEVER had a problem. Those stories they've heard about people getting their money stolen etc are probably just that, stories. The SSL encryption used is VERY secure and not even goverment super-computers can break it. This is safer than pulling your card out a real physical store - the only people who see your information here are you and the online store. PMDG is a legitimate business, they're not gonna rip your parents off etc...Ryan

I could wait until the boxed version. But that will cost a lot more and I dont want all the versions. Just the 600,700,800,900.Cheers,Ryan
