Hydraulic Query??

Featured Replies

Hey me agian, i have been follwing this forum since PMDG announced that they are going to release the 737NG. I recon was have seen a thread that when the hyraulics are switched of the wheels caridge just falls down due to lack of hydraulic insufficencies. Was this true or was i just imagining;). Thanks guys for the good work, keep it up:)LukeThe right flyer!!

One other thing about the hydraulics. Again this may be the way it is supposed to be, but...With all hydraulics switched off it is possible to move the flight control surfaces. In the PIC767 (you guys must get sick of your product being compared to the PIC767, sorry), when the hydraulics are off there is no movement from the flight control surfaces until the electric pumps are turned on.

Hi Luke,The PMDG bird will not drop the gear out just because you lost hydraulic pressure. The gear will stay up until the handle is selected down then the gear will free fall. Now, before I get hammered with "thats not how the real 737 works'" , I know :-) There was no good way to model the manual release handles on the floor of the 737 so this was the best option. Hi Mike,The 737 was still an old technology bird with manual reversion for Ailerons and Elevators. Rudder system relies on the STBY hyd system for its movement.RegardsPaul Gollnick :-coolTechnical Operations/Customer Operational SupportPrecision Manuals Development Groupwww.precisionmanuals.com

"In the PIC767 (you guys must get sick of your product being compared to the PIC767, sorry)"I would think that is a big compliment, being compared to 767 PIC, but of course I am not PMDG ;-)
