737NG Real/PMDG flight instrument

Featured Replies

Hy all,Watch this photo of an B737-700 SouthWesthttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/273065/M/There are some difference between the configuration of the flight instruments in the real glass cockpit regarding PMDG 737NG.Is it possibile also in the PMDG modify that view ???Thanks a lotStefano Pirovano- Italy -

That setup is comming in the 800/900 release I belive..

plus customer preference...Different operators would have different control layout (though that might be less likely in a glass cockpit).

Customer option to make it easier for pilots to switch back and forth between NGs and Classics. I believe Continental uses that style as well.Lee Hetherington (KBED)

Azzurra Air uses this style (as on the picture), while Braathens uses the classic layout (2 examples). So it's airlines choice what kind of style they prefer. In my opinion there is no reason to change the PMDG-Panel.George White

What cofuses me is that the eicas on the pmdg is from that other setup ?Hope when the -800 comes that we can chose what instruments to use..

That has been said that the 800 will feature that different kind of display like the Southwest. There will also be the option that if you buy the 800-900 addon you will get the ability to choose which display you want for the 700 to the [email protected]
