August 2, 200322 yr Did clean install and ran SU1 in FS2004.My overhead panel appears behind my main panel.Al other panels like FCM, throttle and radiopanel appear correct in front of the main panel.Don't have this problem in FS2002.Any solutions?
April 13, 200422 yr Gents - Don't use the Shift+2 keys etc. to shift panels. It's been stated on this forum before, many times, and is mentioned in the FAQ as well. The only reason to use keys is if you have a dual monitor setup. You then undock the overhead and move it to your second screen. So in this instance it doesn't matter if it's behind the main panel.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
April 13, 200422 yr Commercial Member SU1 is no longer supported by PMDG. You need to upgrade to SU3 available on the PMDG web site.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
April 14, 200422 yr Hello Vin,I just purchased my pmdg so its the version 3. I tried several things to see what was causing the prob. I tried different airports to see if the scenery was at fault. No luck. What happens is that I press the O button on the panel and fs9 crashes. (and recently T for throttle, causes a crash too).Should I reinstall the panel? Or is there a way to track down the problem? I installed the pmdg737 three days ago.. could it be a case of file corruption that quickly?Tuomo AhoSAS921
April 18, 200422 yr Ok, Ive continued to narrow down the cause of fs9 crashing. Apparently it has something to do with the Virtual Cockpit. It may sound strange but everytime I select virtual cockpit version of the 736 and press the O on the panel link buttons, FS9 crashes. If I select the 2D panel version of the 736 and press O, FS9 works just fine.Since really nobody else is reporting this.. what could be the cause of the prob?Ive re-installed the PMDG to see if that could help. No success. My system specs are:P4C800-E Deluxe3.0Ghz P4 HT1024mb RAMAsus R9800XTWinXP SP1I really could need a little bit of help since I really enjoy flying in the VC mode!
