August 3, 200322 yr Randy,You should not be having stutters on that hardware. What is your anti-aliasing level? What kind of FPS do you get in default aircraft, and have you installed the patch from PMDG?
August 3, 200322 yr I have a 2100, and G4 MX440, only with 3D clouds do I get stutters. What is your cloud settings, btw I do not have 737NG in FS9 yet, only in FS2002.Robert
August 3, 200322 yr HelloI got stutters and big framerates drop 27-10 with the 2d panel in FS9. The patch didnt help me. With default learjet(both 2d and vc) I got 27 frames without any drops I use addon scenerys, 3d clouds, water effects high, MyTraffic at 40 and no anti-aliasing.In FS2002 I got steady frames with PMDG 737 but NOT in FS9 so I need a new patch.P4 2.2512MB DDR RAMGeForce 4 Ti4600 with Omega 44.03DX 9.0a Niclas Ivansson
August 3, 200322 yr Commercial Member Niclas-Compairing your FS2002/FS9 frame rates in our airplane is not going to help you.We recommend that you work with the settings within FS9 to adjust your frame rates to suite your taste. I have tested the airplane in FS9 on machines of varying capablity LESS THAN YOURS and if one is reasonable about their settings, frame rates are fine. Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
August 3, 200322 yr Hi Guys, I too am getting something that looks like stuttering in FS9, but I don't think it is related to the NG. I am seeing it with the default 777 and 747 panel's as well, but does not seem to be affecting FPS at all, still getting 27-29 FPS with all aircraft, including the PMDG 737NG. (2D panel's only are stuttering) What I am seeing is the panel going to "BLACK" about once a second for a little while, then it stop's. Only stay's black for a few milisecond's, but it is very distracting.
