August 4, 200322 yr Hi guys,I need some help.It took sometime to me to decide to buy this plane. And I'm impressed with the quality, and believe me, I'm quite hard judging this. But as far as support continues to keep us informed and seeing the effort they are doing, I don't blame anyone at PMDG. Keep the good work.Of course I have some little things to point to, specially the hard fps killer this plane is, specially on add-on sceneries (at least on my machine), but there is one quite aukward that is anoying me:Sometimes when I get on board, I make the flightplan, prepare the FMC, and specially, I set the fuel. But!!!!! The left tank on 80% of the times, or doesn't let me change the quantity it has, or simply doesn't pass the 20% mark, taht it 1700Lbs, whatever the quantity I put oin the other tanks, because those he let me change to what level I want!!I tried to zero all tanks, and no good with the left one. I tried to reset FMC and start over agaon, no good. And everything is shut down.Another thing happened today: after making a perfect flight from KPHL to Azores, shut it completly down, abd I left the sim running for a few hours, and when I get back, I had the plane on water, some 50miles away from the island(!!!) and when I saw the tanks, they were ......... negative!!!!!! And that I saw on the balance, because I couldn't get the plane with bank 0
August 4, 200322 yr Miguel,Have you loaded up the latest patch? This was a problem in the first release of the plane, but has been since corrected in the patch.
August 4, 200322 yr >Another strange thing: as I'm writing this, the plane is in his >parking position, the fuel levers are cut-off, the fuel pumps off, >cross-feed off, and the fuel is going...... slowly but going..... >with engines absolutly dead!!! Is the APU??Yes the APU does draw the fuel downGeorge George Morris
August 4, 200322 yr Hi Fred,Yes, I installed the patch, but since many guys were talking about re-installing the patch again, I'll do it.Thanks. I'll let you knowHi George,Thanks the info. I get knowledge of that aftyer my post, since I disconneted the APU and te fuel flow stoped!! Thanks any way.MIguel
August 4, 200322 yr Commercial Member If anyone wants to change Fuel in the left tank while the APU is running, this is possible when the aircraft is in PAUSED state. Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
August 4, 200322 yr Hi lefteris,Thanks for the tip. Probably this is the kind of thing we should read on the manual, right? However, one strange behaviour happen: try do load the aircraft on the sim, with 0-0-0 fuel. Cut the engines, and then start the APU!!Really odd. But, I can leave perfectly with that!Still an icredible aircraft. Thank you!Best regardsMiguel
