PFD problems !

Featured Replies

Good evening everyone,I am having problems with the PFD display :- in command mode the PFD shows "CM" instead of "CMD"- the altitude tape does not show the correct target altitude. For example : on MCP FL 220; tape shows 200 etc. Identical with any FLAny ideas ?the NG pack is fully updated.greetings,Dimi.

Dimi-have you "mucked around" with the default fonts? Font size?Also- regarding flight levels - are you flying with real weather? Check the barometric pressure if so.

Thanks for yoour reply Lefteris.I haven't done anything with the default fonts or font size that I can recall. I don't fly with real weather. The AP behaves normally and levels off at the correct set FL only the PFD does not show the correct FL. Where can I check the font issue ? Is there way to make screenshots ?I can't find the cold and dark cockpit option. Is there a way to check if one has the latest service pack update.Maybe it has to do with my specs and video card: Dell Latitude 800 512 MB RAM 80 GIG HD, 16 MB video ATI Mobility. FS 2002 runs with acceptable frame rate.greetings

Craig-select normal DPI in your Windows configuration and you should be OK.(That setting is in your Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced -> General Options). If you use 120 DPI, you'll have the effect you noticed.
