August 7, 200322 yr I`m having two weird problems in FS2004: Just had to break off a nice VNAV flight again. All I did was using the keyboard for looking out the left window! Pressed SHIFT+NUM7, then released SHIFT in order to make the view stay. And the plane starts bobbing up and down heavily, with all kinds of alarms and warnings coming from the cocpit. If I use my joystck to glance around, everything is smooth. The worst thing about this is the coffee I spill onto my :-hah every time!Tried to disconnectreconnect AP, I even centered all the moving surfaces to no avail. I went down, fast, gave up. Also the latest version of FSUIPC (3.4), didn`t help. I`m blank....The other weird thing: With the parking brake on and the engines running on idle, the plane is moving forward. Engines showing 25.5 N1. Tried to disconnect joystick, nope. If I loosen the parking brake, the plane is up at 20 knots in no time! So each time I want to program my FMC, I have to do this with APU only, in order to stand still. Well, I`ve heard some models were slightly overpowered, but...

Try unchecking reverse rudder trim in FSUIPC and check this thread:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...d=12508&mesg_idGeorge George Morris
August 8, 200322 yr Thank you George :)Yesterday I wondered if I should buy the full FSUIPC version. Now I have decided! But I must say this bird got more expensive than I thought...Regarding the thrust issue...finally I found the F1 key...urrk:+
August 8, 200322 yr AndrewLooks like your throttle is a bit out of sync. When you buy the full FSUIPC you can use it's eminent joystick functions to make sure you have approx 20 and a half %N1. That is as I understand it ground idle. With that you won't move. BTW. Always do FMC programming and flight planning before your ENG START. See the check lists. August 8, 200322 yr Mats,I was so used to the Fly II 757 that I forgot about the checklists and just started her up, haven`t read it yet, guess it is time soon! And of course should I program the FMC with engines off in order to save fuel for the company. But the company is mine, so I don`t worry much :-hah
