about the 737 sounds...

Featured Replies

Hi,I'm testing the PMDG before buy it, I'd like users opinions about the 737 sounds, mainly the engines. I found when changing the throttle the engines sound is quite the same, I can't hear huge differences in the sound in different flight situations. My only experience is from 767PIC and DF737, so I don't know if the real thing is like that. Thanks,Ulisses

In a friend. I use project magenta and I'm very interested in buy it, the flight model looks very good. I won't use the panel, because the PMDG autopilot is not compatible with magenta, but it is not a problem, I want the visual and flight model !Maybe it is my friend's sound system that isn't so good. Thanks,Ulisses Simionatohttp://www.cdsdigital.com.br/flightsim/

I suppose it would depend on how you have the sound setting in FS on your or friends system. Personaly, I have the engine sounds set to where you can only hear them noticably when at full thrust, it just seems more realistic to me when in the 2D and VC views. To answer, I like the sounds and find them as good as any, it is one area of development where most times it is correct straight out of the box, so to speak.Tonight's dinner is :-spam1, with gravy.

Thanks Robert,I guess it is ok, another thing that I noticed was no flap sounds, but I think it is realistic too, probably we can't hear the flaps if inside de cockpit :)Ulisses Simionato
