August 9, 200322 yr Hi,I'm going to start designing a paint scheme of the VA I'm a pilot, but I have never made this before, so I have a couple of questions. There are several kind of files in the ZIP:.PSD & .TGA
August 10, 200322 yr Harry, the .PSD files are the ones to modify. After you've finished painting a particular .psd file save it in that format then save it again as a .TGA. Use Photoshop or Paintshop Pro to do your painting either one is fine just as long as the version you're using is capable of using Photoshop's layers. http://www.precision...GX_Dev_Team.jpg PMDG Graphic Designer
August 10, 200322 yr Hi Harry,As Pete said you edit the .PSD files with your livery. When you're done, flatten the layers and paste onto the Targa file. You move the targa files into your texture.va folder, then use ImageTool to save them as the bitmap file. The beauty of Targa files is it allows you to edit the paint and not loose the alpha, it also gives you nice crisp 32bit textures. You can also import edited Alphas to the Targa file and then save again as the bitmap. :) Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
