SID-STAR question for EDDN

Featured Replies

Hello PMDG enthusiasts,I would like to ask for some help concerning the SIDSTARs of my home airport EDDN Nuremberg. Every time when I try to input a new route I get a message " err. NB at line 14" when entering the airport EDDN (POS INIT page or ROUTE page). Yes, I have the AIRAC 309 cycle. The runways 10 and 28 of EDDN are no longer available in the FMC.Can someone give me an idea, which mistake I should look for? Is it a syntax error in the txt-file of the sidstars? Thanks for any help,Best regards,Wolfgang

Wolfgang,The error message is related to your SID/STAR file which by the way are totally unrelated to your AIRAC files. You can find it in the PMDGSIDSTARS folder. Please attach a copy of it and someone could probably teel you what's wrong on line 14.Regards,EDIT:Added name

Hello Mats, thank You for the fast answer. Here I attach a copy of the eddn.txt file. I looked through it many times until now but can't observe something strange.Best regards,Wolfgang

WolfgangThe NAVAID NB is in the database 6 times. I have found that the FMC doesnt like NB. Even when added as a FIX NB it reports an error. Thats why I have used FIX NB01.Add this FIX and replace the 5 NAVAID NB's in the sid text with FIX NB01 it should then work ok.FIXESFIX NB01 COLOCATED INUW 278 5.5ENDFIXESDont have the charts for here, so dont know how accurate they are.Simon

Hello Simon, thank You for the detailed answer. I will try tomorrow morning what You suggested. At least I would be very glad to plan flights also from and to my home airport EDDN.Good night from Bayreuth,Regards,Wolfgang
