Boy do I love this plane!...final question...promise!. Can someone tell me, the tail logo lights..where do they shine from on the real aircraft?, the fuselage, fin, stabalizer? ....If you know where onthe MD-80`s as well ,it would be much apprieciated.Regards.:-cool

Good question Ed. I'd like to know the answer also. I wasn't able to find a single photo of the 1900 with the tail lit at night.Mike Stone

Most don't have the light I think. If they did it would be an aftermod to the front, inside corner of the stabilizer. But, as a Form 337 (one time deviation from its type certificated design- needs to be filed for each and every airframe) or STC application (which would get blanket approval for every airframe of the category and model of aircraft) for the aircraft would probably be time consuming and costly, they probably did/don't do it. I could be wrong though. Hi Chris "Most don't have the light I think." I think you areabsolutely right, certainly in the case of my upcoming B1900 Air Hex repaint, where the tailfin is completely blank anyway!thank you for your imput it always help to hear the opinions of others .:-)
