I just downloaded and in installed your latest sid/star and air cyl files. When ever I input KSTL on the route page I get Err 35 runway unknown. I see the file for KSTL in the PMDGsid star folder. Why won't FMC read it??Bill M

I had the same problem with KBOS. The FMC gave me the same error for RWY 33R. Following instructions that were included in the ReadMe that comes with the sid/star database, I opened the KBOS text file and deleted the entries for 33R and 15L. Went back into FS and it worked. All the other runways showed up and I didn't get any error.Try that.

Part of the problem is the 0309 AIRAC database. Some runways are missing from KSTL and other airports.Best bet is to use 0308 data.

I deleted all of the 09 airdata file and reinstalled the 08 files and gat the same error message. I wish somebody would get this right.Bill M

There are two sets of data read by the FMC.The AIRAC data resides in FlightsimrootFMCWPNavdata.The SIDSTARS data resides in FlightsimrootPMDGSIDSTARS.I'd recommend you look for the file I recently uploaded to AVSIM - do a search on PMDG Tutorial Navdata and it should pop up.This contains the navdata and sidstars I've been using. No problems at KSTL - haven't tried BOS yet.

Hello Everyone, I had the same RWY 35 err problem today at KSTL and, oddly enough, RWY 33 err at KBOS. After several combinations of SIDSTARS and Navdata I found that SIDSTAR-309 coupled with NAVDATA-308 worked like a charm. Before I leave just want to say thanks to Tim again for the wonderful tutorial.Cheers
