Missing KATL Runways in FMC

Featured Replies

I have been reading the other threads on missing nav data and last night I flew from KORD to KATL and when I was inputing flight data into the fmc at KORD and pushed the arrival dep page and hit arrivals under KATL no runways or stars were showing up.I went into the sidstar folder in PMDG and looked under KATL and they are listed.I can't figure out why they aren't showing up.I was hoping someone had a idea?I am using navdata 0309 JeffG

Hi JeffAre you using the updated 0309 Sid/Stars from the PMDg site. If not try those forst. There have also been some problems reported with the 0309 cycle as reported in the pinned topic on the top iof the forum. Hope this helpsRegardsPaul Gollnick :-coolTechnical Operations/Customer Operational SupportPrecision Manuals Development Groupwww.precisionmanuals.com

The problem is with the 0309 AIRAC cycle data. There are LOADS of missing airport runways. The runways appear, of course, in the SID/STARS data. This confuses the FMC when you enter the airport. It checks both files, finds they don't agree, then refuses to load any SID/STARS for that airport.Richard Stefan says the problem is with buggy conversion scripts as he produces the NavData files, but he's working on it and should release new data soon.As a stop-gap measure, check the AVSIM library for 737ngtutorialnavdata.zip This is Tim Metzinger's navdata files he used when making his awesome tutorial. It is based, I believe, on the 0308 cycle.Best regards,Eric Courtney
