June 25, 200223 yr Okay, I know that this probably doesn't belong in this forum but this is where I live, well, just about anyway.I use Windows XP.One of the many features that I like is the "Filstrip" feature when looking at the contents of a folder; at least when i get that option anyway. In some folders, when I select the "view" option, the best I get is "Thumbnails" whereas in others I get "Filmstrip", which is great for browsing through a folder with a lot of images in it.Why is this only available in some versus others? It appears to be completely at random. Is there a way to enable this "Filmstrip" feature in ALL folders?Regards,Heather
June 25, 200223 yr This link may be of some help:http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/usi...ew/organize.aspProbably more information than you ever wanted to know.:-)Dan
June 25, 200223 yr Trying to think of the best way.One way to get filmstrip though is if you open a folder with a bmp in for example, right click on it and then select Preview, that gives you the filmstrip then for that folder so you can browse other pics..I dont think this is the answer you are looking for though Heather but its a start I guess..Craig
